Drugs and Alcohol Education
Within the Hebden Bridge Schools Federation we decided to bring a specific focus onto the teaching of Drugs and Alcohol within the school curriculum in addition to when this topic is touched upon through Science and Jigsaw, our PSHE (Personal Social and Health Education) scheme.
The Year Group Overviews show what the children will be learning. In Key Stage One the focus is on learning about medicines and what ‘safe’ and ‘unsafe mean.
